Article Abstract
The available evidence on adjunctive dexamethasone therapy confirms benefit for H influenzae type B meningitis and,if commenced with or before parental antibiotics,suggests benefit for pneumococcal meningitis in childrenhood.Limiting dexamethasone therapy to 2 days may be optional.
